Farmer Field School for Integrated Crop Management of Potato in Nepal: Field Guides and Technical Manual (2003)

This publication is a comprehensive collection of information resources for FFS facilitators and other development workers involved in farmer training on potato integrated crop management (ICM). It consists of the following sections: 1) FFS planning, 2) technical guide on potato ICM, 3) suggested simple studies/experiments for FFS farmers, and 4) learning guides for individual FFS sessions, 5) PRA tools and field exercises, and 6) games and exercises for team building/group dynamics.

This manual is based on four years of FFS-potato IDM development and piloting through a collaborative project by CIP-UPWARD, CIP-SDC Potato IDM Project in South Asia, DOA-PDS, and several local partner institutions from the government and NGO sectors. It was jointly prepared by a 12-person team representing these various partner institutions in Nepal.
